Based in New York, I am a magnetic force in PR, communications, and media with over a decade of experience in building brand awareness for startups and tech companies through strategic earned media initiatives. I have unmatched media relations skills, reporter contacts at leading news sites, and I am a published journalist in Fast Company, Teen Vogue, Newsweek, InStyle, NBC News, Bustle, The Daily Beast, Essence, and Built In. I understand, love, live, and breathe media. I bring a fun, unique results-driven approach to driving year-round press coverage, building executive thought leadership, and securing earned speaking engagements and awards for companies that may or may not have a public presence to begin with.
A lifelong passion, my love of media started at age four when my family was featured on TV and local newspapers. I grew up reading magazines and my name in headlines in Rhode Island for my volleyball achievements throughout high school. Pursuing my dream and purpose of one day living in New York landed me my own weekly column at The Torch, the college newspaper at St. John’s University. With a knack for storytelling, I had the privilege of having my articles published while interning with the editorial team at The New York Amsterdam News, the second oldest Black-owned newspaper in the country.
